Your label must include
Required statement
“MADE IN A COTTAGE FOOD OPERATION THAT IS NOT SUBJECT TO GOVERNMENT FOOD SAFETY INSPECTION”
The statute requires a label that complies with federal labeling (21 U.S.C. 343, 21 CFR 101), with the statement printed prominently. No minimum font size was found in the current text. Food must be prepackaged at home.
